Kelsey is a nature and city inspired artist, rooted in her desire to capture moments, memories, places, and feelings within her art. Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, she has been able to appreciate the quiet and calm pockets of nature in the suburbs as well as the expansive architectural and lakeside elements of Chicago. Chicago, after all, is the "third coast".  Spending time in the city and staying local, she continues to be inspired by all that she sees and experiences around her.

Through painting, she wants viewers to enjoy a sense of fun, playfulness, detail, and natural elements. Being able to create is what brings her joy and she always hopes to bring that same feeling to people who view her art.

Over the last 2 years, Kelsey has experimented with a variety of artistic styles and subjects. Her inspiration will mainly come from places she has visited, walked by, taken pictures of, all to capture that moment for recreating later. While testing out multiple different styles and subjects, she has come to focus on nature, flowers, trees, rivers, ponds, cities, and lakes - everything she is constantly surrounded by in the mid-west!
